Academia Iuvenum (AIm) is made up of young scientists from Wrocław Tech (at least one year after obtaining their PhD) who successfully carry out research projects.
This elite group serves a two-year term. Its task is to undertake various initiatives for the benefit of the university, create a platform for the exchange of scientific ideas, and enable young scientists to express their opinions both within and outside the university.
Academia members can count on a number of benefits to help them focus on their scientific work, including an additional 50% of an assistant professor's salary and a reduced teaching load (to 120 hours). In addition, they can take advantage of a program of specialized training and workshops on various topics, including effective grant acquisition, public speaking, media relations, and the art of argumentation.
